Allowing 3 to 4 hours will you give you time to also explore the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, the Hoover Dam bypass bridge just south of the dam. There is a pedestrian area where visitors can walk onto the bridge for breathtaking views and photo ops of the dam and as well as the surrounding rugged Black Canyon that starts at the dam’s base.
